INVASIVE PLANT MANAGEMENT

Removing invasive plants is out new project for 2018. Our volunteers will get help from the PA DCNR and City's Parks to remove the invasive akebia, Japanese honeysuckle, kudzu, multiflora rose and other noxious or nuisance plants from the riparian zones and parks of the watershed.  We plan to work together with local businesses and residents to offer fun and rewarding community stewardship events.
